Assemble launches "accidental and unpredictable" ceramic tableware on Kickstarter

Turner Prize-winning collective Assemble has partnered with architectural ceramics studio Granby Workshop in order to create a range of multi-coloured ceramic tableware. The range will first be made available as a limited-edition reward for backers of a Kickstarter which aims to reach a goal of £40,000 by 5 October 2017. Granby Workshop is a community-orientated business that grew out of Assemble’s award-winning Granby Four Streets project to rebuild the near derelict neighbourhood in Liverpool. The Workshop quickly established a playful reputation after developing techniques such as “smoking handles in a BBQ and making fireplaces out of rubble.”
